The free state of Bavaria decided to enforce tuition fees for non-EU foreign students for higher education institutions. PPI Jerman expresses concerns as to the limitations that future Indonesian students would face to enter the great universities and Fachhochschule in Bavaria, also reminding the long-term benefits that future international students would catalyse for Bavarian and German knowledge-intensive industries as well as cultural and knowledge exchanges between Germany and the sending countries.
